Color Coated Steel Coil
>
Galvalume substrate changes the economics of roofing in hot and humid markets, and this AZ150 galvalume prepainted steel coil pairs an aluminium zinc coating of 150 g/m2 with a colour paint system for exterior cladding. The 55 percent aluminium, 43.4 percent zinc and 1.6 percent silicon coating resists the long wet time conditions that attack pure zinc, and it reflects a large part of incident solar radiation, which lowers surface temperature and reduces thermal movement in the finished roof. The coil is supplied as PPGL in thickness from 0.25 mm to 1.00 mm and width from 750 mm to 1250 mm, with the coating mass and paint build recorded for each coil.

Galvalume colour coil is used for roofing and wall cladding in tropical and coastal markets, for cold storage and logistics buildings, poultry and livestock housing, and for industrial sheds where interior temperature control matters. Agricultural applications benefit from the reflective surface, which reduces heat stress inside the building. The product is also used for solar mounting rails, ventilation plant casings and automotive component panels where a combination of heat resistance and corrosion resistance is required. Distributors in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and West Africa typically stock PPGL alongside PPGI because tender documents in those markets frequently specify aluminium zinc substrate for coastal projects.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceCoils are wrapped with waterproof paper interleaf and plastic film, with fibreboard edge protection and steel strapping on wooden skids. Because aluminium zinc surfaces mark easily, handling instructions are printed on the label and the wrap is marked to discourage dragging the coil across the container floor. Each coil is labelled with coating mass, substrate grade, paint build and weight. Mill test certificates include the coating composition report, and a sample length from each lot is kept for twelve months so that any coating mass question can be settled by re testing rather than argument.
