Color Coated Steel Coil
>
Structural applications need more than a painted surface, and this high yield prepainted galvanized coil is produced from substrate with a yield strength between 180 and 320 MPa, giving the load carrying capacity required for container plate, decking and load bearing panels. The higher strength substrate allows a thinner gauge to carry the same load, cutting weight in transport equipment and reducing the steel cost of a finished structure. Thickness runs from 0.40 mm to 1.20 mm, widths up to 1250 mm, and the coil is available in galvanized or galvalume base with a two coat paint system so the finished component needs no subsequent painting.

Container plate, transport equipment panels, structural decking, load bearing wall panels, modular building frames, racking and shelving uprights, guard rails and industrial platform flooring are the main applications. Transport equipment makers use it for side panels and roof skins where weight reduction has a direct effect on payload and fuel consumption. Modular building producers use it for floor decking and load bearing wall panels that must be painted before assembly, and warehouse equipment manufacturers use it for shelving and racking components where stiffness per kilogram determines the design. Because the surface is already finished, the fabricated part goes straight to assembly instead of to a paint shop.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceCoils are wrapped in waterproof paper and plastic film, edge protected with fibreboard rings and strapped to wooden skids suitable for container loading. Heavier coils are supplied with reinforced skids and lifting points marked on the wrap. Each label records grade, yield strength, heat number, size, coating mass, paint build and net weight. The mill certificate reports tensile strength, yield strength and elongation per heat together with zinc mass and coating thickness, and cut to length sheets or slit widths can be arranged for customers who fabricate components rather than form continuous panels. Retained samples are held for twelve months.
